A Talk on “Legal Formalities for Starting a Business in India” was given by CA Susanna Cherian with inputs from Innovation Ambassador Dr. Celina Joy of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research at Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai campus on 12th March, 2020. The talk covered the various rules and regulations under the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, Goods and Services Act as well as the local laws. The talk was aimed to make the students involved in startups aware of the legal aspects of forming and running a business.It was an interactive session and was attended by the Business Plan Competition participants of PCE, PIMSR and PCACS.
