Final Round of Business Plan Competition 2025
The finals of the Business Plan Competition 2025 was conducted in an exhibition format at Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus, Panvel on Monday, 19th January, 2026 at 10.30 a.m. at the Stilt Area of Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus, Panvel. This was preceded by the inauguration of Freshbiz 2026 at the Quad area. The objective of the event was to provide a platform for students to exhibit their creativity and create businesses. The event was conducted by Pillai Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in association with the Institution Innovation Council of the various colleges of the Pillai Group of Institutions and IWFCI India National Chapter. The Business Plan Competition for the year 2025 was announced in the month of January 2025 and gives a platform for students to nurture their ideas into a full fledged business. This year, 73 teams registered for the competition and 8 teams competed in the final round. The jury consisted of members Ms. Bina Trivedi – PE and VC Advisor to Funds and ex Managing Partner at ILFS & PE., Mr. Jeetesh Tipe – Founder & CEO of MINTING M, and Ms. Shradha Munot- CEO & Founder of Froodelite Organiscs Pvt. Ltd. Guidance is provided at every stage by one on one counselling, organising workshops on financial statements, making business plans & legal frameworks etc. The winner of the competition was HDA followed by Team Inostructech from Rasayani Campus. The third prize was bagged by Team Homer from Campus followed by Team Agritech from Rasayani Campus The prize for the winning teams was a cash prize of Rs. Sixty Thousand, a trophy and a certificate. The winners of the second and third prize were given a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 10,000 each along with certificates. The winner for the IWFCI India Award given to promising female entrepreneurs was bagged by Team Try n Flow from Pillai College of Arts, Science and Commerce. The exhibition was visited by many IIC members, faculty and students throughout the day. The event was co-ordinated by Dr. Priam Pillai and Dr. Celina Joy from the Pillai Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The event was attended by 49 students, 21 faculty members and 3 guests.
